Product: Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client -- Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action VACon_Install, location: C:\Program Files\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client\VACon.exe, command: -install "C:\Program Files\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client\vpnva.inf" VPNVA

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I can't find any solutions. :( I have Googled.

what version of AnyConnect? How are you installing it (via a push from a website, or directly from an exe)

Was using a file anyconnect-win-2.5.3055-web-deploy-k9.exe. (I think supervisor got this copy from Cisco's website)

Tried to do it from website that has the Java autodetect that we have setup, and it gave this:
The installation has failed. See the Windows event log for more information or contact your system administrator.
Clicked OK, went to check Event Viewer and found several errors all with Event ID 2:

Then the Cisco webpage at the VPN Server that had the Java auto-detect thing realized that the installation failed with its 400 KB web-downloader installer, and said to click on the link below to download and manually install -- which prompted to download anyconnect-win-2.5.3055-web-deploy-k9.exe. Checked MD5 checksums and they are all identical (even to known working anyconnect-win-2.5.3055-web-deploy-k9.exe binaries). So the installer isn't corrupt and has 100% integrity.

I hate the software you need to connect to cisco business routers :( it's a huge pita.

However if you call cisco, they will give to you..

I have QuickVPN_Client_v1303 if you want to try that ..?
