So i've got vista installed on my computer and i had my computer doing audio out via spdif to my theater receiver... well im in charleston now and I just want some headphones running but none of the audio ports will play any audio for it (tried everything but get no sound)....
when i go to playback devices it says Headphones (not plugged in) Speakers (not plugged in) and Digital Output Device Spdif working.... obviously i cant plugin my headphones into the spdif jack so how am I supposed to get audio? I can recall plugging my headphones directly into the back of the computer before but not sure why its not working now... (i might have used a 1/8th adaptor for the spdif jack? cant recall)
edit - 30 minutes of messing around with it finally got it to work...
