Can't get board to recognize floppy?

Is the floppy drive light on all the time when the machine is on? If so, you have the cable on backwards - reverse one end of the cable.

Same thing happened to me lol. I didn't have a floppy for a while because I didn't want to try to figure it out. Simple fix.
 
As far as MSIs go 2 things you need to do in the BIOS enable FDC and set in main Menu Floppy to 1.44 after that its just a matter of checking if the cable is reversed!
