Can't get a RAID array setup on my board

I have no floppy drive. And that's all windows XP will accept RAID drivers from during setup. So my only option was to somehow incorporate drivers into the windows XP CD. I found a very nice guide on how to do this and set to work on it. I created a CD with the promise fasttrack 378 driver and one with a via raid driver. Both drivers came on my Asus P4C800-E motherboard CD. During setup on either CD I can verify that the drivers are being loaded by windows but at the end it says it can't find any drives.

I've been at it for hours and still can't get it to work.

I discovered some things though:

There are two, yes, two different RAID controllers on the motherboard. And they each use different SATA connectors and they are each enabled in two different locations in the bios. Go figure.

So I moved on to the Intel controller. Got into the RAID bios and set them up there but still windows cannot detect them.

Bios settings are correct according to the manual. The drives work fine independantly in windows. Both are currently formatted NTFS. So i'm not sure why this won't work.

My thinking at this point is to buy a floppy drive just for this. But thought i'd check with you guys first.
