I have a dell u2713hm which is great for desktop use and works fine for gaming (better than my previous tn panel at least [which was old as balls so it probably wasn't that great]) but the amount of money I need to keep games running smoothly at 1440p isn't exactly the best (for me).

I've spent a while looking at smaller monitors (1080p really) but can't really find a screen that has high refresh rate + is small. Am I blind or does this just not exist?

I'm trying to find a small monitor that has roughly the same pixel density as my u2713hm (.23 pixel pitch) which is roughly a 21.5 inch monitor. I figured with the prevalence of 120/144hz screens now for gaming I'd try one of thoes and manage my expectations in terms of hardware cost a bit better but I cant' find a 21.5 inch 144hz monitor. Do they just not exist?

Suggestions?
 
I think 24" is about as small as you're going to get for a monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate, which means pixel density is going to be a little less dense at 1080p with a pitch of 0.276. I haven't seen any available that are smaller, anyway.
