Can't find my CCC

I just installed the 6.5s, but I cannot find the CCC. My previous drivers (5.12) did not have the CCC either, I would click on the shortcut and it wouldn't find it and show the flashlight. But since I did a clean uninstall of the 5.12 and just installed the 6.5s, should't it show up again? (i should note that during driver cleaner there were a couple of errors when cleaning the CCC, but it finished running anyway, something about (Internal error 2753. altishlx.ece and error 1316,a network error occured while attempting to read C:\Windows\installerATI Catalyst Control Center.msi)when I tried to remove CCC in the add/remove programs menu, 2 CCCs remain, but I can't remove them) I also disabled a bunch of stuff on msconfig but I went back and put a checkmark on ATI Catalyst sys... (can't read the rest) and I had all my shortcuts deleted when i did driver pro, so there is no shortcut in the desktop anymore where I can click to see if I have it now. Should either of these 2 be checked under 'Services' in msconfig: Ati Smart, Ati hotkey poller. I also found my 6.12 install folder and inside i opened the ACE.ece to repair/install CCC, and restarted but I don't see anything. Thanks I just want to be able to turn on AF again, it's been months since I haven't been able to use CCC. Sorry if it is not very clearn, this is confusing to me.

Edit: to make it short, I would just like to properly uninstall the last 2 version of CCC which still show up in add/remove programs, but are not currently working, and install the new CCC that came with 6.5. Thanks
 
I tried the CCC uninstaller (I don't want to uninstall the 6.5s), but got those errors. Is there an alternative way to turn on AF and change basic settings like performance vs. quality OUTSIDE a game, besides CCC?
