Can't find a good case!

I have a Thermaltake shark, which I love, great case, set a couple fans in the comb window and you got some damn good airflow. However, I'm looking/planning on building a newer pc, and want a case that comes pretty standard with some good airflow, and lots of room. I'm reading up on Newegg on a lot of their atx full tower aluminum/steel cases, and see some good ones.

I read through the reviews and of course all of them have ranging 1/5-5/5 reviews. Just some of those reviews either seem really retarded or really useful, and when it comes to reviews those two are hard to distinguish.

Price is anywhere below 150 or so, those sunbeam cases look really cool, but flimsy, and read a lot of horrible reviews and a load of good reviews, they just don't look very airy. Every case I've owned has been thermaltake so I'm kinda hesitant to break the 'tradition' ;) lol.

Thoughts?

particularly drawn to the apevia models, the look good :D but I keep losing focus on looks and performance! Want a mixture :p
 
If you could extend you budget you should take a look at the Lian Li PC-G70. Its a very spacious case I think its around 2ft x 2ft x 8in. Its very sturdy and well made. Also its a great case if you ever want to water cool. I know you can get them cheaper at performance-pcs.com. If your open to mid towers then the coolermaster RC-690 is a good choice. Another good option is the Coolermaster Stacker, either the T01 or 810 model, and the Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570.
 
I prefer full towers. Like having room to operate within my case as I open and clean often. Thanks I'll take a look at the Li. I guess another thing I should add is, I also prefer having a removable MB panel. It's so much easier to assemble and then pop into place, quick and easy access.

You really don't need a removable tray on a full sized LL. They're *so* deep that working on the motherboard in place is easier than the hassle of using a tray. :)

Go LL and you'll never miss your Thermaltake :)
 
Antec p182, I just got one and it looks sooo clean. The design is phenomenal and easy enough to work in.
 
I like the large design of the lians, but they just look so bland lol. I'd have to do some case modding :D
 
I actually hate LEDS that I can't control, so that is in no way a problem as my pc is in my room and sometimes have to leave it running while sleeping. The lights are annoying as hell. What I mean by bland is the outside of the case. Just looks like a normal 'server' tower. No fancy about it ;), but then again having a 'sleeper' is kinda cool :D take the case out and sand it up a little bit try and give it a nasty rugged look to it.

Wow, those stacker 830's look really nice! Like the side panel fan support! When setup properly with fans how does the temps hold out? Is it pretty well future proof for watercooling as well, or would that be a case advised against WC?
 
Kinson, those 830s really aren't that great for internal WC, especially if you want a 120.2 or 120.3 rad inside the case. Even though the full tower Lian Li's look bland they are excellent for internal WCing. Oh and the Cosmos, that case looks great but I've heard those cases have terrible air flow, but I don't know for sure. They're also not that great for internal WCing, the most you can fit in there without any real serious modding is a 120.2 rad.
 
So what you're all saying is that for future proof (if I should go WC'ing) I should get the lians ? Ok, thats good to know. Like I said I can always mod the cases some to get a little more airflow, sidepanel usage, etc. Thanks!! I'll look at the lians again and see.

The ones mentioned above, are they/it if only one I forget, the best for what you all think? Hardcore gaming, good airflow and great room for WC if accessed in the future?

Actually, after a bit of more research, I think I might go with the Thermaltake Armor. Lots of peeps say it's great for watercooling if you want to in the future, and it is already set up for great airflow without. I have 5 thermaltake cases and have never had a complaint. Thoughts?? If you care to look at it and say whether or not you think it's a worthy buy or not feel free... I think I have a couple months :D
 
The Lian Li 2000 series are great cases... good for SLI, watercooling, or server storage as well as great airflow. I'm impressed with the engineering that went in to this case.
