Ok I go to "add computer" And I give it the link to the console version. It says "This is not A valid Folding folder, blah blah blah" Help please.

Well Im pissed majorly. I exited out my Console version for a sec on accidnet and I re-oponded it now it says 0 out of like 500000 again.... WHAT THE FUCK....

Oddly enough, my main comp does that ONLY on the 5k'ers to....
 
God this is gay... How do you enable boost? Because It didnt enable its self on this p4 3.0 ghz.
 
add "-forceasm" to the command line. are you running as a service? if so:
run->regedit->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FAH@C:+fah+FAH502-Console.exe ->imagepath
add "-forceasm" to it. that's all.
 
add the -forceasm to the end of the command line command to start the client.

not quite. you're probably editing the DisplayName value, not the ImagePath value. make sure you get the ImagePath value - that actually changes what runs. here's what you want:
(FAH FOLDER PATH)\FAH502-Console.exe -svcstart -forceasm

also, you may not want to run it off the desktop... it puts a bunch of files wherever it is running from.

The -config is a one-time thing, so that it gets set up.

you are modifying the wrong key, so make sure you get the right one.

And wtf Im not running it on desktop...... Its under C:/A1/Fah
 
then that is pointing to the wrong place. it should be this:

in the reg key. not sure where the desktop part came from... copy+paste that into the reg key, and see if it works right.
 
Ok Something iS seriously wrong with my foldings... 2 of my computers are running the same protein.
 
yes you don't need the -config except for the first time you run the console. and the command is -config, not config.exe
 
irishllama - that's normal. well, kinda. it isn't that unusual for two computers to pick up the same WU. i wouldn't worry about it.
 
yeah my a64 is crunching the same protein as one my crapper dualies the crapper will finish in 3 weeks to 2.5 days for the a64 :)

 
No something is wrong. I think I will unistall everthing lose like 8 hours of work to fix it... What do you suggest? Let me tell you what they are working on

All the machine ID's are different. So that isnt the problem.... This is really starting to piss me off. Im about to throw down the towel
 
that's two different projects, don't restart unless you're showing no progress for a long time, like hours.
