Hi, Im using a RocketRaid 133 with 2 60GB Maxtor drives (Plus 9 2MB Cache)

The option under the Polices tab is grayed out and bootvis claims its disabled...

The controller in combination with the it's drivers are automatically enables the bus mastering feature embedded within the controller. Bus Mastering is something that is implemented in several different ways according to the manufacturer of the hard drive and controller it is being used with. Many of the implementations will not show up in Windows 2000 or Windows XP UNLESS you are using certified drivers either provided by MS or by the manufacturer of the controller.

Hope this helps!

OK, thx. I'm curious as my Hard Drive performance has always been unusually slow considering its on Raid 0.. Only 31*** in sandra.. I score more with a single drive.. Oh well.

PS: Also doesnt explain why the option is greyed out for arrays policies.
