I post something, and went to edit it, and all I can do is Quote or Multi-Quote

not edit though

is this just a global for "Real Life Stuff", or what?

and yes I'm shown as logged in + cookies (it shows "Welcome, obobski" in the upper right, yet I cannot edit a post which is very clearly by obobski, me)
 
Let me guess. The News subforum?

Can't edit posts in news threads. Apparently people can't search the forum when they discover this either.

nah, looks like all Real Life Stuff, but I can edit this thread's posts :rolleyes:

looks like whatever was amiss is right again, I can edit again

maybe it was just closing opera/restarting (did not try that as troubleshooting, just kind of ignored the issue), but it works again....
