hello ppl,

i've got a problem.
i'm running WinXP Pro. I got two hd's, one seagate and a samsung (no RAID) and recently i copied a folder about 3 Gig large from the seagate to the samsung. During that process i got a "cycle error" and it stopped copying. Thankfully it was only a copy paste, and no cut & paste. But now not only i can't access the folder in the samsung, when i open it with explorer there's nothing in it. So i want to delete it. But i cant even do that. It says the folder is not empty.
Whats also strange, when i use diskeeper to defrag the samsung hd, i can see how it tries to defrag the files that were supposed to be viewable in the folder. So they are still there. But why can't i delete them?
Tried in Safe mode, but got the same "folder is not empty" crap.

Any ideas on how i can delete that folder?

thx in advance!

make a batch file and put it in the parent folder. call it whatever.

Code:
del path/*.*
rd foldername

wow... that was simple! :)

thx a lot guys for your quick replies! i downloaded the file utilities, but i actually used the batch file, and it worked like a charm!

that folder was slowing the defragmentation soooo much!
