My current system:
A64 3000 @ 2.3ghz (no pci/agp locks)
1gig ram
9500 Pro

Was looking at getting a 6800 gt. Is it worth an upgrade now or do I sit tight for the next round? With my LCD I'm stuck using a max of 1280x1024, at this resolution I do notice some slow downs in farcry if I try to use high quality settings. Any suggestions?
 
Yes it is worth upgrading now, if you have the cash. Don't pay more than retail though, as it can be found for that.
