Okay, NewEgg has three 7800GT's from eVGA. What is the difference between them?

eVGA 256-P2-N515-AX - $345 | Core: 445MHz | Memory Clock: 1070MHz
eVGA 256-P2-N517-AX - $369 | Core: 470MHz | Memory Clock: 1100MHz
eVGA 256-P2-N518 - $399 | Core: 445MHz | Memory Clock: 1070MHz

To me the pricing does not make sense. Is there something I am missing? Is there a difference between these cards besides stock speeds. Also, are the clock speed differences work the price differences? Comments?

the $399 has free 3 day shipping
the $345 has free cod2

all 3 packages look the same to me from the images (didnt open them all)
so i guess the difference in price depends on the clock speeds
honestly i would say go with the cheapest one and OC it :D

I noticed in the Hotdeals section that the $369 one comes with a free motherboard.

That would seal it for me.

ah ha
the $399 comes with a free eVGA SLI mobo
i just remembered that lol

EDIT: we posted at the same time lol
actually its the 399 one

get the 7800 GT CO, its the highest clocked GT on the market... 470/1100

Considering the $399 one comes with a free copy of CoD2 and a quite decent motherboard, I'd go with that.

All have CoD 2 if you purchase before 10/31/05.

$345 - Regular 7800GT
$369 - 7800GT CO (Copper heatsink and slightly higher clocks)
$399 - Regular 7800GT with free eVGA s939 SLi mobo (So really the mobo is actually $54 as opposed to $120-140)

Each are great. The copper heatsink is worth the money. If you have a need for a spare motherboard, or if you can resell it, that is also worth it. That mobo actually has some good reviews. Everything comes with an eVGA lifetime warranty including the motherboard.

I vote get the 7800GT CO version. But then again, I might be biased *cough* sig *cough*. :D

Funny thing is, these things (in sli) just scored 12238 3dmark05 for me, and damn thats fast considering I had a score of 12795 w/ OC'd 7800GTX sli a while back... and CPU was faster on that rig too... I guess a lot of performance gains up through to the 81.87 drivers versus the old 77.72's I had used before!

Speaking od CoD2... I need to go register my cards... I wonder if I get two copies?
