Question. I had 3-way 780 SLI earlier and I returned it when I realized that the 780 TI's were coming out. The 3-way system seemed to perform very well (gaming mostly at 2560x1600 or 1920x1080 @ 144hz)
Since the 780 doesn't support 4-way SLI I also decided to take it back (and the 780 TI supports it)
So I'm on the fence, I want to put in some video cards that will last about 2 years playing on the above monitors. Should I get 3-way SLI 780's now and be done with upgrades? Or should I get two 780 TI's now, and then I can add two more later if need be?
Keep in mind that I don't notice any SLI stuttering or input lag so those are not concerns for me. I had good experiences with my 4-way SLI 670 system in the past.
