Hi, someone from Hong Kong came to our office today and he was trying to connect onto the internet through our T1 lines. How come when I connected the cat 5 cable to his laptop he can not go on the internet? Are their computer configured differently in networking oversea?

I see the small icon next to the clock which indicates he is connected to the internet. But when I launch IE he can not browse.

What do I need to do in the network settings to make it work? I've disabled the firewall.

Since you already got it to work I don't feel bad making a joke now.

Overseas the IP packets travel counter-clockwise. You need to install the Western TCP/IP stack.
