Using one of the ports at the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard, I connect my new PC (OS: Windows XP Pro) to the router (8 port Linksys), which obviously connects to our cable modem. The connection I'm using is not the Family Gigabit blah blah (forgot the name) it's the NVIDIA nForce Networking Controler.

I can see the other computers in the network, and it seems that I can ping out into IPs that I can only get through the internet, but my browser acts as if I'm not on the internet.

I have the IP address to be automatically obtained, the address type is assigned by DHCP.

Is there any more data that would be needed in order to find the problem? I'm sure there is.
