Cant burn a DVD with WinDVD creator anymore, Starforce issue?

I used to be able to just fine. Now when I go thru the setup to burn DVD process from a video file, it doesnt find a burner, and gives me a ASPI error. Ive not had one of those in several years. It used to be common in 2K and XP when they first came out, but not anymore.

Nero picks up my burners fine, but for some reason WinDVD Creator does not anymore. Is this a Starforce issue, or something else? Ive uninstalled, and reinstalled the program, same thing. Any suggestions would be great.

Remove Starforce? there's a utility to remove it on their website.

Would that effect the X3 demo that is installed? At this point I dont care anymore, I just want my DVD back.

Nope, as soon as you try to play the demo Starforce will be re-installed.
