System runs XP Home flawlessly in normal mode.
When I attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
- Loading stops at windows\System32\Mup.sys
- Error is IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_EQUAL
Device Manager indicates all hardware installed properly and all drivers functioning normally. System is not overclocked. Memory is Memtest86-stable. Memory shadowing and caching is disabled in BIOS.
Any suggestions appreciated.
