When you first turn your PC on, look down at the bottom of the screen, you should see something that says "Hit the del key to enter setup" or "hit F2 to enter BIOS" or something like that. Hit the key it tells you too and you'll come up to a blue screen (probably anyways, it may be gray or something) with a bunch of options. Find something that says "boot list order" or "boot from device" and make sure CD-ROM is set to be the first thing it boots from. Hope this helps!

forgot to mention that =p

you press F12 to choose boot device. I hit CD, nothing.

it was doing it like 2 days ago. Now it only shows in windows

What exactly are you trying to boot from? If you burnt it yourself, it may be a bad burn, try burning it again at a slower speed and possibly a different brand of CDs.

Windows OEM disk.

cant boot from Ubuntu 64, Ubuntu 32, or OEM windows.

nothing.

shows up in windows though o_0

Try to set it up to where the BIOS boots from it first and see if that helps. What exactly happens when you try to boot from it?

so

i took my CPU down from 3.4 to 2.4 (stock) by loading the load-safe defaults.

worked like a charm.

o_0 i dont know why it didnt work with my OC
