Can't Adjust VCore Voltage

I went to bump the voltage on my E3110 only to find that the option was locked in my BIOS. Where I should be able to scroll down and adjust the setting (in the "Genie" section), it's a light blue color and inaccessable.

Anyone know how to unlock this?

I have the PhoenixAward BIOS and a DFI BloodIron P35 motherboard.

Thanks,
Y

Dunno, thats strange, maybe theres another option you have to turn on before it will give you that option? Like "overclocking=enabled"

Alot of motherboards have things you have to check/unlock before options become available .. like making sure your CPU setting are set to overclock or manual. Then those options will become available would be my guess

There's nothing like that, unfortunately. Maybe I'm just not recognizing something.

Here are a few of the settings that are adjustable... is it one of these?:

SB 1.05V Voltage 1.070V
SB Core/CPU PLL Voltage 1.55V
CPU VTT Voltage 1.100V

Can't adjust:

CPU Core Voltage 1.05V

The "CPU Core Voltage" is listed at the bottom with a few others you can't change, "DRAM Voltage" among them.

You should see a setting called cpu vid special add or cpu vid control and it will have values lists as .0XXmv or .XXXmv which add millivolts to your processor. So + .100mv would make the vcore go from 1.2 to 1.3 and so on and so forth. Hope this helps :D kschaffner
