Can't access wireless router config

I got a wireless router only because I have a Nintendo DS.

I have some issues though...

Seems that once connected to the modem and then connected with the internet I cannot access my routers(Linksys- avarage wireless) config set-up(192.168.1.1).

I can access it when not hooked up to the modem...But every time I need to open a port that doesn't sound like fun.

Any ideas why I can't access the router?

In your Linksys router setup, you should have something called Remote Router Access, if it is Disabled, Enable it so you can get in wirelessly. In Linksys routers it’s under “Administration.”
