alright i have 4 computers on my network, they are all on the same work group, same subnet and everything. I can see their computers on the network, but the problem is, is that one of the computers has their folders shared and with my computer it wont allow me to access that folder. I get that "check with your administrator" error, On that computer I put that folder on shared and everything, I need some help knowing what's going on, thanks!

Well first of all you can start by taking your time. Its extremly hard to get a clear picture of the setup/problem.

Sounds like you need to start by disabling your firewall. See where you get with that. Also are you loged in as ADMIN or have admin privlages?

(sorry for my bad spelling)

Admin Privileges, yes, firewall is off...

alright for the clearer picture...

I have a computer which has its folder shared on network, I have admin and firewall is off.
The problem is the other computer can't access the folder on shared. All the computers are on the same workgroup, same everything and specific IPs assigned.

And the computers all have this operating system.............................. If anyone is XP Pro, simple file sharing is turned o..................................
