I've been looking for a good "upgrade" camera for my wife and I, as a step up from the basic point and shoots.
Having narrowed it down to these two (I think), can anyone give reasons in favor of one over the other?
I've read reviews at dpreview and camera labs, and I'm still having a hard time deciding.
The G16 is at the very top of my budget, and the price of the Panasonic is a bit more attractive. The G16 has gone down by $50 in the last week on Amazon, but its still $50 more. Is there going to be $50 worth of difference in that camera for the amateur?
