That would be epic for designing warships/submarines. Planning where all the pipes/conduit/ventilation/etc run would be so much easier if you could run through it physically, testing for maintenance points, etc.

Could imagine how awsome this could be for gaming! We could actually see a hybrid of traditional video gaming and LARPing. Imagine putting this helmet on and going to a special park and playing a RPG game like this. Or even a first person shooter. Its not quite "holodeck" awsome, but it is a step in the right direction.
