My old Canon LiDE 30 scanner broke on me after five good years of service and I just bought the new LiDE 70.
I uninstalled the old drivers and software, rebooted, downloaded and installed the new ones and hooked up the scanner. I wanted to try copying a document. When I pressed the "Copy" button Windows asked me if I wanted to use Microsoft Imaging or Photoshop. I picked Photoshop.
Then Photoshop launches and nothing happens. It doesn't open ScanGear and the file is neither scanned nor printed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling ScanGear but the same thing happens.
I just want to press Copy and have my printer spit out a copy automatically, without having to manually do so in Photoshop. Any idea on how I can get my new LiDE to work like my old one?
I also read online that there is a "Deldrv" program somewhere on Canon's web site that will automatically delete my old LiDE 30 drivers. Does anyone know about this?
