Hello,

I borrowed my sister's bf camera and I couldn't figure out how to turn the flash off when using Manual? Please help me, thank you.

If it's the onboard flash, just push it down until it clicks into place.

If it's an external flash, turn it off or remove it from the hot shoe.

You need to shood in [P] mode if you don't want the flash to pop up in low light levels.

If you're shooting in low light levels you may need to increase the ISO to 800 to keep your shutter speed from getting to low. This can be done by pressing the button marked ISO just to the right of the screen. Then use the wheel next to the trigger button until the number on the rear display reaches 800. Then press the ISO button again.

Thanks, I figured it out by accident. :)
