Cannot Uninstall a software

I just installed Norton Anti-virus 2003 on a new machine the other day. And today I want to uninstall it.

For some strange reason, the software won't let me. It says "pre-mature termination" and it just bomb out of the uninstall process in less than 1 sec after I select Uninstall.

So I went to the Add/Remove prog. inside control panel, and all the software should come with a "Change/Remove" button, except Norton Antivirus. So I try that regardless and it gives the same error.

So I went to Services Under computer management and unclick all those symantec stuff and re-boot. Same thing.

And I try to uninstall the above under Safe Mode, but you can't un-install software under safe mode.

At this point, how do I uninstall the Norton antivirus?

update, it works perfectly, thank you very much. One click on that software, the whole Norton AV 2003 and those live update are all removed. I'm so glad I don't have to see symantec again.
