So I saw this mad deal for 8800GT 256MB on Newegg for 69.99 after 30.00 cashback.

The best price I can find for a 8800GT 256MB in Norway is $220 (yay lame costs and 25% tax), so I'm pretty tempted to rack up 8 or 12 of these and build some boxen for the farmen.

I've read the crap on the mail-in rabates, and it states that it's only valid for one use per person. Now the $99.99 is pretty sweet, but it would be a waste not to be able to cash in for all cards at about $300 or so.

Is it possible to someway get a cashback from all the cards? Do you have to buy 1 and 1 card on different names, and send in separate cashback requests for each? Anyone got any ideas?

Seeing as I need help by someone to get these cards for me, rip em out of their box, pack them together and send it to me overseas, the person who would do this will ofcourse be reimbursed for their time (I cover all expenses), and can do what they want with the cashback.

Possible? Or am I far out? ;p

PS. I'm even tempted to mail Gigabyte and see if we could work something out with the cashback and get 20 or more cards. Oh yes, I'm GUNNING FOR YOU TIGERBOY!

Yes, you would need to use a different credit card, shipping address and billing address for each rebate. They compare all of that to ensure its not one person buying 100 video cards and getting rebates for them to re-sell on Ebay.

Mmm.. so I thought. Still, $99.99 is not a bad deal. Need to get my .. farm .. moving .. forward!

/munches on popcorn.

Battle of the titans both new and old!

Ok, I've done some thinking. I'll contact my local hardware vendor and see if they can help me out with some decent prices on hardware in return for some free ads etc (I work with some signage projects which might interest them).

If that doesn't work out, I'll order a bunch of these cards to my US mailforwarder (or better yet if someone of you wants a shitload of cardbord boxes and reimbursement for your time and troubles shipping them to me). :)

I got boxes to feed atleast 8 of the cards, and a couple of new boxens with quads + a decent mainboard for 3x or 4x carding would be sweet.

Any suggestions on a mobo that's capable of doing 4x without cramping performance on the bus?

Since the phenom is only feeding the GPU's go for it.
