cannot install any catalyst drivers

i have a 9600 aiw and no matter what catalyst i try to install it wont and i cant use the tv or record anything. i have emailed ati but they told me to try again. i have several times. i posted something a while back about the t200 avstream driver but didnt get a response and this time it doesnt matter if it is 6.09 or 6.10 or any other they say they install but in device manager it says it cannot start and has a yellow exclamation point.
 
Try uninstalling the drivers, booting into safe mode and running Driver Cleaner. That might do it for you. Chances are there's some driver fragment that's messing things up.
