If you pull open a web browser on any computer on your network and type in assign.stanford.edu:8080 or just assign.stanford.edu do you get the OK message in your browser?

Also i'm not sure that 2gb is enough memory to run -bigadv. I think the minimum is 3 with a general recommendation of .5gb per core - by core i mean physical not HT

What are the specs of this machine? What flags are you running on your f@h instance (-bigadv -smp)?

EDIT: I'll be more specific

I am using the console uniprocessor F@H client, not the fancy SMP one :)

only flags I'm using are -verbosity 9 and -local

OK lets try some easy stuff, try restarting the client, if that doesn't work fire up windows explorer, find the folder where F@H keeps the work driectory and delete the work folder, queue.dat and myfolding.html. Restart the client and see if that does the trick

Just had a look through my logs on this machine and all i have is initial:0000 and initial:40AB. Maybe its an error code of some description. I.m going to check my other rig and see if it has anything.

OK just checked my dedicated box and the only other initial code I have seen is ED82. I have no idea, does the code change when you do connect to the AS?
