So I got this 7970 for a decent price, it's supposed to ship tomorrow or at latest monday/tuesday so 1 week...

According 6950 used market me selling my 2x 6950 2gb I'm going to bleed 120-150euro.

It's well worth it considering I can +1gb and once I get a 2nd 7970 but a eyefinity edition 7970 so I can run more then 5 or 6 displays in eyefinity.


But instead of the above I could just throw the 120-150euro towards watercooling and once the sapphire 6gb eyefinity comes sell the 6950 and get 1 or 2 7970 6GB and have truly potential for 5 o 6 display eyefinity.
 
I'm not really sure what you're asking. You can spend money now on 7s, or later on 7s. If you spend it on them later, you apparently want to spend additional money now on wc. Is there something you're looking for as an answer here?
 
your 6950s will sell for a lot more now than they will in 6 months I bet. I'd buy one now and get an eyefinity edition down the road- should be able to crossfire them and use all 6 displays just fine as far as I know.
 
the only downside with buying a 7970 now and then getting the eyefinity 6GB cards(if that's what you are referring to) and crossfiring them is that you will only be able to use 3GB of vram so the extra 3 GB on the eyefinity card can't be used.
