Ive been looking around and all he prices I've found for 6800GTs were obsene (660CDN and so forth)

I was wondering if any northern rangers here knew of a sight that had the 6800GTs for less then more my current comp was when I bought it :p ...

Thanks

pricenetwork.ca

I've seen them in the Toronto area going from 520-600...

The AGP versions go for around that, The PCI-E versions go for quite a fair more (Ususally 100 more)

which... kind of sucks...

Ahha I've found one for 599, which is 60 dollars cheaper then other places...

Damn canada prices...

I hold off another month for pci-e, supply should pick up around here and prices should stabilize around the 550-600 range for the pci-e versions.

Check ncix.com, most of the GT's there are under 600. I've even seen the eVGA 6800GT go for 499 on their weekly sales a few times before.

Once again, thats the AGP version, I need the PCI-E version (Since I plan to do SLI)

I might just get 2 6600GTs,,, which brand of 6600GT is the best?

I'm in the same boat. I've decided to wait it out another few weeks or so.
I would not, however, buy 2 6600GTs... the performance of 1 6800 does better, apparently.

Speaking of 6800GTs... which one is the best brand of that? For when I do buy...

And if you check out [H]ardOCP's review, it shows that the single 6800GT is comparable to a pair of 6600GTs, beating them in some apps and being beaten by them in others.

Thats still bloody expensive.

I have MAX a 1500 dollar budget. Adding a 6800GT (plus all the rest of my comp) puts it over 1600 dollars.

I was wondering, with EVGAs step up program, can you send in TWO cards at once (Plus the price diffrence) and get 2 cards back?
