A new study says that our brothers and sisters to the north are the most depraved, web-addicted nation on the planet. Like how I threw "depraved" in there so they all sound like porn addicts now? :D

The measurement company comScore reported Canada has the highest penetration of Internet access, with around 68% of Canadians routinely surfing online, against 62% in France and Britain. Close behind is 60% of Germans going online and, south of the border, 59% of Americans.

This is web users, not web addicts.

Better poll would have been howmany users spend 3+ hours a day at a computer or something.

That is because there is nothing in Canada.

What??? Canada sucks.

what else is there to do up there? :p

climb trees or play in the dirt? Chase mooses?

There's lots of great things to do in Canada... but they're all too fucking expensive.

Oh Canada, I can't fucking wait to leave you. True North Strong and Ass.

I live here in the True North Strong and Free, aka Cold Lake AB, and there is a lot of things to do here, now that we have a Wally World and got running water last week! Yay!

And No, I don't know John or Mary, but I am sure they are nice people, since they are Canadians!

Toqueheads unite!

That's because they are mostly frozen over and stuck inside for a big majority of them :D

Well duh, there's fuck all to do in Canada except get drunk and fish.

Given the choice of freezing my ass off or the internet I'll choose . . . moose jerky.

And here I am just having watched two Canadian rednecks get some Horten's on Christmas. Funny couple guys.

That Tim Horton's is always packed - I live about 5 minutes from there. And they aren't kidding about that road between London and St. Thomas being a speed trap - it's terrible. But don't judge all of us like that, people from St. Thomas are a different kinda folk :D

Having been through a large portion of the Canada and USA, unless you are living near a beach or live in some of the big cities, there is about as much fuck all as Canada. A warmer fuck all but fuck all none the less.

Canada fucking RULEZ, my igloo just got dialup last week, we cant have broadband as it creates too much heat . Cant have too much heat or it will cook your brain then you might as well just move south with the rest of them. nothing to do in Canada? Try BC and tell me what i cant do in a single day, i can drive 2 hours in any direction and either do world class fishing/ hunting, amusement parks, nhl hockey, golf, goto the beach, 4x4, quadding, boating, casinos, go see some of the best damn rock concerts evar. Or i can sit my ass in my igloo chew on some whale blubber and smoke the best dope in the world. Oh yeah forgot to mention our women are hotter too. Fuck where's my toque??

Hell yeah man, used to live in Seattle until I moved to DC for grad school last year, that part of both our nations rocks.
Loved going up into BC to visit (when I could afford the gas to get there) and play outside and in the cities.
Too bad the rest of the country isn't like that part...

I have been to Canada many times and like going up there. Most people are nice and very helpful. Tim Hortans used to have my favorite doughnut with maple glaze until Krispy Kreme started making the products for them. Yes KK used to make their stuff, I'm not sure if they still do. The company I work for took many loads to TH from Winston-Salem, N.C. to the On. and Qc stores in Canada. The only brown stain on Canada is Qc. I hate going up there!

Meh I live in canada there is plently to do when its warm alittle less in the winter. Same as any US state that has a winter season. And if you are living away from a big city in farm its the same as the US or any other country.

What I do like is we don't have the RIAA( don't remember the name of the Cdn branch) trying to sue anyone for downloading music. However is Tv is your think american and the entertainment side covered.

One of the things I do really love about Canada vs the US is the gun thing. I always feel uneasy in the states knowing pretty much anyone can be carrying a weapon.

Also being alittle further north does have its benefits it keeps quite alot of unquestionable people out of the country because its just to cold for them errr (US/Mexico border) is what i'm referring to here.

Tons of stuff to do around Vancouver. Beautiful city, too. It almost makes me jealous, but Seattle has a certain charm to it that keeps me here.

9 months of winter might have some of you twiddling thumbs too. When it's -30C for weeks at a time you tend to spend a bit of time on the internet in between hangovers.

-30 shit i haven't seen more than 2 inches of snow this year I'm looking at sunshine right now. Maybe we could make BC a republic of its own as we don't really have much in common with the rest of Canada climate wise.

its -3 right now in ontario and we have barely had that much snow for this time of year, I haven't even needed winter boots or to put salt on my driveway.

The last 5 winters in ontario have been mild compared to 10 years ago.

I don't think i've seen -30 for a years now.

9 months of winter where?

last I checked winter season is from dec 21-March 21.

Just let WA annex you. It's for the best :)
