I have an android tablet with 32gb micro sd slot. I have a 128gb msd card so I wanted to know if it was possible to partition this card out into 32gb each and would doing so make all the partitions readable from the tablet?

Or is there no way to get this to work? I hate to waste such a huge sd card like this.

Why do you want to partition them and in what formats?

He's wanting to know if its possible to partition his card into 32gb partitions so his tablet (im assuming is limited to 32gb) would be able to identify them.

Could very well be wrong; but isn't the parameters of the card itself the source of the issue? Meaning that even if you did chop it up into 32GB partitions the tablet still won't recognize it due to natively being too large to address?

There are different kinds of incompatibilities. SDHC and SDXC use a bit different access protocols.
If the tablet cannot understand SDXC at all, those wont work.

And there are tablets that wont understand exFAT, but can read 64GB or larger SD cards.
I had to format a 64 GB SD card to FAT32 to useit in my Lenovo tablet.

Either way, what the OP wants to do will not help in any way.
Even if the hardware is capable, using multiple partitions from the same card would require some deep modifications of the OS.
