Can you mix GPU waterblocks?

I currently have an EK waterblock on my 7970 and was curious if I decide to get another 7970 and waterblock, could I get a XSPC block and will the barbs line up with my current EK block. It seems the XSPC block can be hard for cheaper or would I be better of just getting another EK block?

opps, after closer look, the barbs are in different positions. Looks like Id have to get another EK block.
