But it's fine, there is even a specific example of it working on a macbook.It's worth noting that Fink has ports of a lot of Linux software to the Mac, and many other packages will work fine with a straight compile once you have it installed. Also, KDE4 is Mac-native, so you can run many KDE apps without having to run X11 as well.
