Can Wii provide my non-wireless laptop with internet?

Silly question, please be gentle

I already have the Wii LAN Adapter, which I used in my previous house. Recently I moved and now have wireless access in my new place!

So, I was wondering, could I use the adapter in reverse (?) and hook my laptop up to my wii and get internet that way?

Of course, if the answer is no, I'll just go out and buy a wireless usb adapter!

I would not mind if it's some hacky procedure to get it up and running (as long as it's free and legal) I just want to avoid having to buy unnecessary stuff.

If its a LAN connector, then no, you can't connect it using Wireless. You'd be better off getting a wireless usb adapter (20-50$)
