Lucasfilm is moving to San Francisco's Presidio. In thier new digs they will have "600 miles of fiber-optic cable. 4,000 processors and 150 terabytes of storage -- massive computing power and speed, with the ability to work 10 times faster than they can today.'"

I think we could have some fun with this.

/me drools on the keyboard...

Damn, not another fucked up keyboard !...

That is very nice but I wonder on what they are working knowing that all the 6 SW movies is done now ?

I heard about that monster setup yesterday, 150 TB for all of Lucas' porn. :p

Star Wars Episode 3.5 - Luke goes through puberty

Indiana Jones 4, or do the special effects for Terminator 4 (yes, both are coming apparently).

I've heard of a Terminator 4 but didn't know it was LucasFilms who is doing the special effects.

/me sleep a bit more smarter this night...

ILM tends to handle a lot of the big special effects jobs, they are perhaps the best in the business at it - and that is still George Lucas' baby right, or is LucasFilms finally a totally separate entity?

You forgot bout eps 7, 8, and 9.

Yes, they're coming.

Where are the proof these episods will be coming ? I have never heard of this officially, only a tv show project.

If you go back in time....
Star Wars was orginally billed as a "Trilogy of Trilogies" 3 sets of 3 movies each.
The last 3 are supposed to be about Han & Leia's kids being trained by Luke.

There are a but load of SW books that they could draw on, but this is supposed to have been part of the orginal 9 film screenplay.

Another example of my capacity to store usless trivia!! :D

We SHOULD be able to have fun with this, it's all paid for by tax dollars. Who gave Lucas permission to use public property to make a profit?

Well it would have been nice.. but.. with how badly they messed up the first two.. do you really want them to attempt to make another 3?

Look at the third one, though. It's pretty good. I guess even Georgie-boy can do something right. If he can keep it up, I'm sure ep 7 won't be too bad.
