Hey guys,

I'm not too much into modding; I don't have the skill to accomplish what I want done. I'm going to be building a new system at some point, and I'm looking for a case that will do the following for me:

1) Price shouldn't be bad, I don't want something too expensive, but doesn't have to be too cheap either.
2) Design: I wouldn't mind a black or a silver case. Cases that have side windows, stock or at least optional, are nice. I want to be able to make this thing look incredibly appealing.
3) Wire management: I'm looking for something that will be easy to maintain / manage the wires so I can make them almost invisible! Wires are clutter, they are the devil!
4) Ample space for water cooling: I have a Danger Den water cooling set, not the biggest, but it will definitely get the job done. I am looking for a case that would easily give me room to be able to setup the water cooling with minimal effort.

If I think of any requirements, I will be sure to update... but I look forward to researching what you guys send me! Thanks!

I'm not too sure about the Lian Li. While I do see someone comment that they give you tools to be able to create a window and everything, I'm not find of the top power button / usb drives. My computer resides directly under my desk, with my existing case barely have enough room to do anything on the top of the computer, so any / all controls from the front would be good.

Also, that "patent side fan" I'm seeing in the pictures is a big eye sore personally... otherwise not a bad case!

Also, the stacker 810 while looking like a nice case, even with the $100 savings Newegg has, $300 for a case is too steep for me...

If you give us a price range that you're looking at, it would be easier to suggest. You can't go wrong with Lian Li cases. In the end, it all depends on what you're looking for: design, water cooling, air cooling, number of drive bays, etc.

I like the Lian Li PC-A08B. Good case for the price.
I myself am using the Antec P180B and must say that its a great case. Sturdy, solid, very nice finish, rather quiet, spacious, and very easy to set up. I would highly recommend this one but its a bit more expensive. Also available in silver.
 
I totally agree about Antec P180. I own a silver version, and so far this is the best case I ever saw(and I've seen a lot of cases). Quality metal, perfect sound proofing, good dust proofing as well.

I don't really know how will it play with water cooling, though.
 
Does anyone know if an 8800GTX will fit in a stock PC A16?


BTW for Lian Lis look around performance pcs, their prices for them tend to be better than on newegg and have a pretty good selection.
 
Cooler Master 690? If I hadn't bought this a05b already, that would be the case I'd be buying right now.
 
The Cosmos 1000 is a great quality case .
some may say stuff about to much plastic in it
but it is a very nice sturdy case that will last awhile
and Newegg has a nice deal going on now btw.

i like this case too, I picked one up to build my buddy a pc but i like the thing so much i am going to swap it with my p180b :D

AeroCool Zero Degree. I have one and it is a joy to put together (which is what I'm doing now). The power supply on the bottom and the inverted mobo is a genius design - makes doing the pinouts a breeze. I lurve it. Plus it's pretty reasonably priced for a full tower.

I'm thinking about this case too for a cheap second PC for my daughter. Now that I've looked at cases for a while, though, it's hard to beat my current P180 for silence although the through air circulation leaves something to be desired. Too many other features kick butt and nothing is really catching my eye as better.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. So far I think I'm liking the Antec P180 style, but from what I've seen on newegg they have dual power supplies and is in excess of $300... I think there was another for $130 but I haven't read too much about that one. I don't like how it's setup though with the extra bays on the bottom though, I have a big feeling that they may cause me a problem.

I also didn't note anything about the holes for water cooling... are they holes to mount the pump or something? Also didn't like the side panel 200mm fan, I want something with a window. I know I'm being picky, but the good thing is I have a lot of time on my hands to sit around and decide!

Performance-pcs sells antec 180's with custom windows.
