Can someone PLEASE explain.

Ok this makes no god damn sense whatsoever! A64 3200+ runnin at 2.4Ghz memory at 200mhz 5:6 divider 3.3%OV idle is about 39-41C load is about 44-46C

Same A64 3200+ runnin at 2.5Ghz Memory at 208Mhz 5:6 divider 5% OV. Idle 37C, Load 44C

The bench used was Prime95 Small FFT torture test. Ran on the same day about an hour apart.

I'd say the ambient temps are about 16-17C

Surely with more Mhz and more volts, would come more wattage and more heat??

Shame thats all i think im gonna get outa my RAM. Dont wanna drop to a 2:3 ratio due to the loss of bandwidth. 25% oc with stock temps you'd expect with air is great. Ran 20 passes of test 5 in memtest. Prime has been runnin for bout an hr. Temp went to 46C momentarily. back down to 45 now. Guessin it will gradually go up till my WC peaks. Still be below 50C for sure. so cant complain :D
