I calibrated my monitor using spder2express.
AFTER the calibration I lowered the brightness level by 70%.
Can some one tell me if this INVALIDATES the calibration.

it tells you in the on screen instructions that if you adjust ANY of the controls you have to recailbrate

I use the Spyder2 Express and I always set the brightness to my preferred level before the calibration (default brightness on most monitors is too high). I don't think changing it afterward is going to totally ruin the calibration.. but logically it should be done beforehand since gamma values are changed at the videocard driver level during the process.

I just recalibrated using my settings changes...proir to the calibration
