Ok i can ping dns, i can ping ip's, i can ping url's. But no matter what i do IE or Mozilla will not display a web page and proxy settings are all turned off. Any Idea's????????????

start -> run -> cmd
netsh int ip reset reset.log (this will reset all TCP/IP settings, so if you manually assigned anything, make sure you remember what it was)
netsh winsock reset
reboot.
try again.
another computer to test with to verify if it's that computer or something else?

Ok after much headache and trial and error. The answer was to unistall the antivirus.For what ever reason when I uninstalled AVG everything started working fine reinstalled and everything is ok now. I had already tried all DNS issues prior to the post thanks for ur input guys.
