Now I know real UV UV UVVVVV lighting can't be seen like stuff at clubs, but I read on some user reviews that PC UV lighting has a slight trail to it. This is of course backed up by all the UV lighted cases out there which clearly show the case with a dim purple/bluish light with just UV lighting. So are the UV lights, like the ones you can buy on frozencpu (e.g. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2...Kit_-_Ultra_Bright_UV.html?tl=g6c75s133#blank) "true" UV with no leakage or do they have that light leakage?

Use ac ryan UV cathodes, You will see a slight purple tint around anything situated close to the cathode, but In my opinion it looks absoloutly fine and have never seen this as a problem.
You will most likely find they are all like this for pc's probably cause the ones used at night clubs etc are of a much better quality/power and are mounted high up.
Although I reckon the picture you posted on the thread is not actualy a picture of a UV cold cathode looks more like a blue cathode light to me (so double check that you are indeed muying a UV light and not a blue cold cathode). UV PC lights tend to look more purple.

maybe not as bright as that guess it depend what type you but, but i would say it's not a million miles off what you see in the photo above...
note: if you ad another colour type cathode examble blue non uv cathode next to the uv lamp its a lot less noticable, it near enough removes the purple tint

If you've got the room, why not just wire in a cheap 10w CFL black light in the top of your case... Way more powerful than the 4w cathodes, and exactly the "invisible" you seek...

4" CCFL's are about 50% brighter than 12" ones... Go for 4 4" ones and you'll get much nicer results.
You can also use silver tape to make a pseudo-reflector on the back of the cathode...
But, seriously, for UV, I wouldn't recommend anything other than a real CFL bulb... Perhaps one of the 6" FL blacklights you find on eBay, ala Here

You should know that most people couldn't tell the difference between snowball and rock even if hit to face.
Human eye can't see UV. But bulb/CFL being called as UV light doesn't mean that it doesn't radiate also some visible light.
