Can not get decoder tab to appear in audio console.

I have a soundblaster x-treme gamer and the logitech z-5500 speaker system. I know my card can do decoding but i can not seem to get it working at all. The decoder tab in the audio console will not show up. I have even installed the daniel_k drivers because i run vista.

Do i need to get the optical cable first in order for that stuff to show up? Or am i doing something wrong?

You'll need one of their front panels hooked up for it to even show up...lol (no joke)
