I have a cheap 300W power supply.

could it handle my specs (see sig) and some sort of video card cooler, a zalman 7000, and a few case fans?

i'm guessing the answer is no, right?

It would be close. Maximum PC just ran an article a couple months ago that gave approximate voltages for the different items in your pc. If you could find that or something similar it would really help you make your decision.

...or you could be safe and buy my 450 Watt PSU [H]ERE

..yeah, it'll be close with 300 watts, especially when both hard drives are spinning.

I temporarily had a fortron 300w when my antec blew up. It ran an XP 2500,NF7-s, 2x120 Gb 7200 rpm hard drives, two optical drives, 512mb ram, AIW 9600 PRO. It all ran just as good as the antec 430w, although i didn't overclock anything with the 300w. I say give it a shot, unless you want to overclock at all.

Fortron is a good brand, we don't know what this guy has.
