Just when I was ready to order my new computer parts, my power supply went out of stock at Newegg, sigh. And the next shipment, they say, will be in 10 days from now, another sigh. It was this power supply (very good deal for such a price):

Now, my question is... can I swap that PSU for this one? The wattage is still way over what I need, but what about the rails? They loose 2A... is that such a big deal? Can you suggest a just-as-good PSU for around the same price (give or take, say, 10 bucks)?

My system:
NEC DVD/CD Drive
Samsung SpinPoint 160GB SATA
EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra
XFX 7800GT
GEiL PC3200 1GB (2x 512MB)
A64 3500+

Thanks!

Thanks for the input. Another question: would dual +12v benefit this system substancially?

The Fortron AX500-A would be a much better choice then both of them.
Why? Less amperage on the +12V, more noise (the SmartPower 2.0s are very quiet), and the 500W model is even modular.

The rated amperage means absolutely nothing at all. Fortron is known for exceeding their rated specifications. The Fortron is a more capable and overall better PSU then the Antec. The Fortron is also pretty quiet.
