I am planning on ocing. After i put my computer together and everything, can i run my pc for a while then overclock later? or do i have to do it right off the bat?
When i oclock, what ALL do i have to do? i know that i have to go into the bios n stuff but is that it? and when i go into them, all i do is change the bus speed right? thx

Wait a moment, you already have an oc'ed AMD.... why would you need to learn how to oc all over again?

you can OC whenever you want, dont have to do it right off the bat and you can back off whenever you want but its not completely necessary (unless you are getting a heat wave in ur city and u have no ac :()
to OC you will need to change ur FSB and mult as well as voltages for stability
there are a few more details but thats the jist, im low in time here

dont worry about it, just stick to the topic

Why lie in your sig

Okay, we'll follow your advise and ignore your sig. So now the response to your "topic" is: there are too many variables to list when it comes to overclocking. The answer to your question(s) will vary greatly depending on the hardware you are using. Example: some boards let you adjust the multi's on some AMD chips, and only for some multis. Some AMD chips can have their multi adjusted, some can't. Some boards have better voltage options than others. And blah and blah and blah. Since you haven't listed any hardware none of us are going to waste our time on a 10,000 word post when Google is so much easier to reference :)

I can say that no, you don't have to overclock right away. You can eat a turkey sandwitch first. Play some Quake III. Do 100 situps. Wait 10 days. It's really up to you, right?
