Can I run mIRC in the 'Backround'?

When I leave work, I want to keep mIRC running, but.. I don't want it to show up on the task bar. My uncle closes it without knowing what it is, but.. since I run my bot on this computer, I don't want it to be turned off. So... Is there a way?

Well, there are apps that let you run stuff as a service so it's not that visible, or you can just minimize it and it should jump into the Tray by default.

Alright, I figured out how to drop it in the tray. it was an option in the menu drop box. That's good enough. Thanks guys


Edit: For future reference, if anyone ever searches for a thread like this.
Hit Alt + O -> Display -> Options -> Tray -> Click "Place mIRC in tray when minimized"

If you want to be even more cautious, you can set it to always hide in the taskbar if you have it set to hide your inactive ones.
