Can I overclock?

I am running an older Gateway 2002. I have an Intel Rexburg D845GRG Mobo and an Intel Pentium 4, 2000 MHz cpu. With 256 and 512 mb memory (768). I want to overclock the cpu and the memory. I go into the bios and all the items that deal with the cpu and memory are grey and I cant edit them at all. So, is there a way to make them able to edit, or can i get software to overclock my comp with??
