This is stock cooling my Tuniq and TX-2 Grease is on its way . My setup is

Abit IP35-E
Ballistix DDR2 800 2x1GB
850W Power Supply
Q6600 G0
Stock Cooling

these are my results . The temps are way too high for my liking and it was stable for 1hr before I shut it down . Can I make this better. What do you suggest and what is the 'AUX'?

I have a similar set-up (IP35-E, Q6600) but I'm using a Ultima 90 plus fan for cooling. I have mine clocked at 333x9 for 3ghz, and my RAM is currently under-clocked at 667 (1:1 ratio).

Anyhoo, my temps on the cores never go above 60C (usually stay at 57-58). Low 70's seems high to me, but might not be with stock cooling. Personally I'd not run it that hot and would take it back down to stock until you get better cooling. Low 70's won't technically hurt a G0 Q6600, but still... Do you have plenty of other fans in the case, including intake/exhaust?

As far as AUX, from my research I couldn't ever find an adequate explanation, other than it was better off ignored, so I removed it from my Speedfan all together.

(Did you change anything to get CPU-Z to report your core voltage correctly? In my IP35-E's BIOS it says 1.225 for my voltage, but CPU-Z reports 1.14 for some reason. Did you flash your BIOS? I'm running what mine shipped with (does the double POST and everything) so maybe that's it)
